Entry-Level Roles at Advanced

Today, we’re sharing some new and exciting entry-level roles coming up with Advanced. As one of the UK’s largest software and services providers, they’re a great organisation to work for. They’ve also been a friend of Astriid for many years, and are committed to learning more about how they can make their roles and workplace practice more accessible for people with long-term conditions.

Before you read any further, you may be interested in this interview with former Astriid candidate Meg. Meg is a disabled and neurodivergent individual, who progressed through Advanced’s onboarding process and was offered a role with the company. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Advanced, to bring even more fantastic roles to our candidates.

Entry Requirements

All the following roles fall within Advanced’s HPEL (High Potential, Entry-Level) program. This means there are no strict entry requirements, such as exam results or qualifications. Instead, candidates will be assessed against the competencies and attributes that are desirable for this role. There are also multiple vacancies for many of these positions.

The Recruitment Process

Advanced is committed to career progression and finding the best position for individuals, which is one of their motivations behind offering entry-level roles that are open to the disability and chronic illness community too.

Their application process involves a short online assessment, including a UCAT test and a personality test. These tests can be completed at home and generally take around 15 – 20 minutes to complete. If you pass the two tests, you will be invited for an initial conversation with someone from Advanced. From there, you will be considered for the specified role that is open.

Job Details

The following roles are flexible, with the opportunity for part-time work and job sharing. Some require in-person working, others are hybrid and suitable for home working.

The starting salary for entry-level positions is £20k pro-rata. Deadlines are not listed, but early application is advised.
