Jobs Of The Future – Equipping People With Chronic Illnesses With Sought-After Skills

We want to hear your thoughts on jobs of the future, so we can ensure our candidates are equipped with sought-after skills!

Here at Astriid, our mission is to match talented people with long-term health conditions with meaningful work. We support candidates at various stages of their work-ready journey, collaborate with employers to create inclusive roles, and campaign for change within the wider employment sector.
However, we’re not stopping there. Next, we’re looking further ahead.

It’s no secret that the way people work is rapidly evolving, as is the wider world around us. Because of this, we feel it’s important for us to develop a better understanding of the specific job roles employers will be recruiting for in the future, and the skills required to fulfill these positions.

As we acquire this knowledge of jobs of the future, we’ll strive to make sure that our candidates have access to bespoke training and opportunities to gain work experience in these desirable areas – and, most importantly, we want to make sure they can engage with these things in a way that’s inclusive for any specific health needs.

In doing so, we hope to further boost the employability of individuals from our talent pool over the longer term, leading to work-ready candidates who are raring to go when we’re approached by inclusive employers seeking these skills. It’s a win-win situation!

If you’re interested in this line of work and have any thoughts you’d like to share on jobs of the future, please do get in touch with our team.
